The infrared thermometer can quickly provide temperature measurement, and within the time of reading a leakage connection point using a thermocouple, the temperature of almost all connection points can be read using the infrared thermometer. In addition, due to the solid and lightweight nature of the infrared thermometer (all lighter than 10 ounces), and its ease of placing in a leather case when not in use. So you can bring it with you during factory inspections and daily inspection work.

Another advanced feature of infrared thermometers is safety, usually with an accuracy of less than 1 degree. This performance is particularly important when you perform preventive maintenance, such as monitoring harsh production conditions and special events that may cause equipment damage or downtime. Because most equipment and factories operate for 365 days, downtime is equivalent to reducing revenue. To prevent such losses, scan all on-site electronic devices - circuit breakers, transformers, fuses, switches, buses, and distribution boards to find hotspots. With an infrared thermometer, you can even quickly detect small changes in operating temperature, solving problems at the beginning, reducing expenses and maintenance scope caused by equipment failures.

Determine the temperature measurement range: The temperature measurement range is an important performance indicator of the thermometer. The coverage range of products in the infrared era is -40 degree - plus 3000 degree , but this cannot be achieved by one model of infrared thermometer. Each model of thermometer has its own specific temperature measurement range. Therefore, the user's measured temperature range must be considered accurate and comprehensive, neither too narrow nor too wide. According to the blackbody radiation law, the change in radiation energy caused by temperature in the short wavelength of the spectrum will exceed the change in radiation energy caused by emissivity error. Therefore, it is recommended to choose short wavelength as much as possible for temperature measurement. Generally speaking, the narrower the temperature measurement range, the higher the resolution of the output signal for monitoring temperature, and the accuracy and reliability are easy to solve. If the temperature measurement range is too wide, it will reduce the temperature measurement accuracy.
